  • The Ballerina Workout

One of the things I miss most about my childhood and adolescence was my weekly ballet class. I loved everything about it: the outfits, the shoes, the music and my adorable teacher. It was disheartening to have to give it up after my junior year of high school, and to this day, I still dream of the time when I can put those shoes on again. Unfortunately, I'm getting older, and ballet's a tough thing to jump back into. Luckily, I've found a way to practice in the safety of my own home, and burn calories while doing so. More Here...
  • Snacks for Insomniacs

I confess, I've done my fair share of procrastinating. And that often leads to some late nights spent doing homework. Let's take tonight, for example. But where can you find the best and most abundant outdoor dining? More Here...

  • Get Grilling!

As the weather gets nicer, there's only one thing I want to do: grill. Correction: there's only one thing I want to do, and that's eat grilled food. I don't actually know how to work the grill (it's on the life list though). And as a vegetarian, you would think my grilling choices would be somewhat limited. And you would be wrong. More Here...
  • Ouch! What to Do About....Blisters

I recently had to go on an unfortunate hiatus from running. Why? I'm embarrassed to say it, but I left my sneakers at home over spring break. And when did I notice that they were not in North Carolina with me? Oh, about two weeks later. When the weather gets warm, I don't even think about running...just tanning. And when I finally did get my shoes back (thanks Mom!), I was forced into another early retirement from running, this time because of the dastardly ailment known as...blisters! More Here...
